What the site is

howtos.video offers free written guides that accompany YouTube tutorials. The guides are general information to help you follow a video. They are not professional advice.

Use guides at your own risk

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your product, local rules and safety warnings. Take particular care with electricity, gas, water, heights, tools, chemicals, heat and vehicles. If a job feels unsafe or beyond your skills, stop and ask a qualified professional. Guides are written with the help of AI tools from the video's details, and we cannot promise every step suits your exact model, version or situation. If a written step differs from the video, follow the video.

Videos belong to their creators

Videos are third-party content shown through YouTube's official player and remain the property of their creators. Your use of them is also covered by YouTube's terms of service. We are not responsible for the content of videos or of external sites we link to.

Our content

The written guides, design and logo of howtos.video belong to us. You may read, print and share links to our guides for personal use. You may not copy guides in bulk, republish them elsewhere or use automated tools to scrape the site without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Do not try to disrupt the site, get around its security, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful.

Corrections and removal requests

If you spot an error, or you are a creator who wants a guide about your video removed, email support@howtos.video with the guide's address. We review every request and act quickly on valid ones.

No warranty

We work hard to keep guides accurate and the site available, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that it is complete, correct, current or always online.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, howtos.video is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the guides or the videos. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes go to the courts of Lisbon, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
